The continuing spread of the corona virus is also causing great uncertainty among companies in Switzerland. The effects of the corona virus on the planning and timely execution of certification audits are also being felt. As regulations and guidelines change almost daily in this context, we would like to relieve you of some of your worries - we are still there for you as usual! As a provider of certification services, we are highly aware of our responsibility: especially in uncertain times, the need for security and reliability is great. We have taken various measures to ensure that our certification services continue to provide you with the quality and care you are accustomed to.

AUDITS TAKE PLACE AS PLANNED, TAKING INTO ACCOUNT PROTECTIVE MEASURES

The health of our own employees as well as the employees of customers and contractual partners is our highest priority and is given top priority. On-site audits are only carried out if the protection of all parties involved and at the same time compliance with applicable regulations is ensured. If a risk-free audit on site is not possible, there is the possibility of a remote audit or a postponement of the audit depending on the type of audit or deadlines set by the expiry of the certificate.

Remote Audits

If an on-site audit is not possible, part of the contractually agreed audit time can be carried out remotely - i.e. at a distance - using information and communication technology (ICT). In the case of recertification, a follow-up certificate can be issued in this way. This must be confirmed in an on-site audit, which takes place within 6 months. The basis for this is that your company has the necessary ICT, an application has been submitted in advance of the audit and this has been approved by us.

POSTPONEMENT OF THE AUDIT

The deadline for regular surveillance audits is December 12/31/2020. However, you are welcome to ask us for the possibility of having at least part of these audits carried out by remote solution.
