IATF 16949 Certification

QUALITY MANAGEMENT IN THE AUTOMOTIVE SUPPLY CHAIN

Implementing an effective quality management system empowers companies to unlock their full potential. The automotive and motorcycle sectors are among the most demanding industries globally, operating under intense time and cost constraints.
Reliability across the supply chain is essential not only for vehicle manufacturers but also for all stakeholders involved. Every organization depends on suppliers who maintain robust process control, understand customer-specific requirements, and are committed to continuous improvement.

Obtaining IATF certification allows companies to clearly demonstrate their ability to meet these critical standards. It provides a strategic advantage in showcasing operational excellence and compliance within the automotive industry.

WHAT IS IATF 16949 CERTIFICATION?

IATF 16949:2016 is the internationally recognized quality management standard tailored specifically for organizations within the automotive supply chain. Developed by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF), this standard consolidates various regional requirements—such as QS-9000 and VDA 6.1—into a unified framework that promotes consistency and excellence across the industry.

Built upon the High Level Structure of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 emphasizes risk-based thinking, customer-specific requirements, and the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle for continuous improvement. Its primary goal is to enhance system and process quality sustainably, ensuring that automotive suppliers meet the rigorous demands of global manufacturers.
