TARGET GROUP & PREREQUISITES

A completed vocational training with experience in environmental management and/or energy management. Initial auditing experience with management systems is a prerequisite. Important: In addition, participants must have completed auditor training according to another management system standard (e.g. ISO 9001 or ISO 14001) with typically 40 classroom hours.

Goals

After completing this intensive seminar, you will be able to assess the compliance of an energy management system and plan external and internal audits in a team. Case studies and role discussions are used to practice audit practice and documentation assessment, and to deepen basic knowledge of ISO 50001. The seminar is certified under A 17573 by the International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA) and meets the training requirements for energy management system auditors (www.irca.org).

Prior to the start of this seminar, documents for independent preparation will be sent in electronic form. These are to be worked through and the exercises are to be completed. The solutions will be discussed at the beginning of the seminar.
