TARGET AUDIENCE

This Lead Auditor training course is intended to provide delegates with the knowledge and skills to audit and assess Energy Management Systems established on the basis of ISO 50001:2018 Standard addressing the requirements of Following Standards:

ISO 19011-2018
ISO 17021-1-2015
ISO 50003-2014

Goals

Delegates who successfully complete this CQI and IRCA Certified ISO 50001 Lead Auditor (EnMS) Training course (within five years prior to applying to become a certified auditor) will satisfy the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA EnMS Auditor.

Prerequisites

Participants must possess the following knowledge

Management System
- The Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA) cycle
- The core elements of a management system and the interrelationship between Context, Leadership and Commitment, Energy Policy, Planning, Operation, Performance Evaluation, Management Review and Continual Improvement.
Management System Audit
- Knowledge of management system audit through successful completion of a CQI-IRCA Certificated (or acceptable alternative) Lead Auditor Training Course in another discipline.
ISO 50001
- An understanding of the requirements of ISO 50001 and the commonly used energy management terms and definitions, as given in ISO 50000, which may be gained by completing CQI and IRCA Certified FD130 ISO 50001 Foundation (EnMS).

COURSE CONFIRMATION

Each participant will receive a certificate of participation from Bureau Veritas Switzerland AG when participating completely.

A reinforcement of the understanding of the requirements of ISO 50001:2018
A detailed understanding of Terminology used in the ISO 50001:2018 Standard
In depth exposure to 3rd party auditing perspective of an Energy Management System implemented by an Organization achieved through a contiguous case study through a series of workshops, exercises role plays
