When implementing occupational health and safety in the retail trade / service sector, many different aspects have to be considered. Within the framework of Bureau Veritas HSE Inspections, both individual customer requirements are checked and compliance with legal requirements is ensured. Our industry experienced inspectors inspect among other things during the inspections in the sales and working areas:

Implementation of the organisational internal occupational health and safety (appointment of specialists for occupational safety, company physicians, evacuation, fire protection and first-aiders, safety officers, etc.)

Compliance with the Labour Act, Law on Accident Insurance, Ordinances 1 to 5 on the Labour Act (from which ordinance 3 is Health Protection), Ordinance on Accident Prevention, Chemicals Ordinance, Chemical Risk Reduction Ordinance, Ordinance on Construction Works and the Fire Safety Protection directives and cantonal ordinances.

  • Risk assessment & operating instructions
  • Documentation for testing electrical equipment, ventilation systems, lifts and fire extinguishers, among other things
  • Fire protection concepts, escape and rescue routes
